Contemporary artist, Jacquelyn Fox,
will be a featured artist at the "Spring
Art Reception" for the Allied Artists Of
The Santa Monica Mountains &
Seashore.
The interpretive nature of her work creates
a sense of intimate nostalgia with the viewer.
Her vibrant Acrylic Landscapes, Florals, and
Still Lifes hang in private collections throughout
the country.
A native Californian, she approaches each
canvas as she does life − with adventure and
exuberance! A colorist who favors restrained
texture, her dynamic brush−strokes and gentle
palate knife application offer vibrancy, texture,
and dimension to the viewer.
Having been a successful photographer
and studio owner, her experiences contribute
to the focus, clarity, discipline and vision of
her paintings today.
A member of several art groups including
Allied Artists Of The Santa Monica Mountains
& Seashore, Jacquelyn paints regularly with
other contemporary artists. "I also
love to visit art galleries and museums
when time permits," she
added. Her travels domestically
and abroad inspire and inform her
art, while it is in her L.A. studio that
the magic happens!
"This year's Spring Art
Reception promises to be an exciting
event," said Fox. 20 % of all
sales will be donated to educational
programs.
The reception will be held on
Thursday, June 7th from 5:00 p.m.
to 8:00 p.m. at To Shapiro,
Rodarte, & Freedman ~ 233
Wilshire Blvd., Suite 700, Santa
Monica. at (310) 319−5400.
